Aegis Training prides itself on having some of the most qualified personal trainers in London. We have an in house team of five trainers each displaying expert knowledge and vast experience in different areas of the fitness and nutrition industry. At Aegis Training we believe in working as a team so each and every client benefits from receiving the combined education of all of our trainers.

The Director
Greg Smith, BA(HMS) CPT, CES
Greg's experience training elite junior athletes led him in a natural progression to a career as a leading professional in the health and fitness industry. Possessing excellent communication skills, experience in presenting and training and a wealth of knowledge in exercise assessment and programme design he plays a key role in Aegis Training's continued growth. Graduating in Durban, South Africa, with a degree in Human Movement studies, Greg also carries a very high standard of industry training qualifications from the leading institutes in exercise and fitness. He is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist
The Team

With a wealth of personal training experience and an impressive array of qualifications, Zack is a strong part of the Aegis philosophy that favours hard work along with tried and tested training methods over gimmicks and 'cute' exercises. Zack comes from a background of powerlifting and olympic lifting, having got into strength training in his late teens after a long run of poor health inspired him to look to exercise and fitness to improve his quality of life.
As our Senior Trainer, he is able to carry out a wide range of assessments, such as structural balances, to identify strength imbalances and optimise programme design for maximal results. Zack has also worked with many clients on improving body composition and has previously worked as head trainer for several leading health clubs in London.

Zahid has nearly 5 years experience in fitness and personal training having originally qualified with Future Fit and worked in several of London's leading facilities before coming to Aegis. As well strength training regularly, Zahid also competes in the Olympic style of wrestling and has a strong interest in mixed-martial arts. Zahid has strong passion and desire to improve both clients and his own physical and mental fitness and believes in hard work and determination being a key part of achieving that. As well as strength training, he has qualifications in sports nutrition and weight management, and is continuing to study both disciplines that are central to his work here at Aegis.
