Monika Bendall

sportsmassage

Monika has moved to massage therapy after sustaining a lower back injury from a bad posture whilst working long hours in the City. She could not understand how she could injure herself just by sitting incorrectly and the incident made her want to find out what was involved in such an injury, what caused it, and how to prevent it. She got so drawn by her research that she decided to retrain as a massage practitioner.

In her practice Monika works with a wide spectrum of clients ranging from athletes (car and horse racing, marathon and ultra running, cricket) to office workers suffering from results of sustained bad posture. In her work she deals with a lot of chronic injuries and post-acute injury scenarios.
